These high precision tweezers are manufactured from anti-acid, non-magnetic stainless steel. They are plated with 2 microns of pure 24-carat gold, which improves resistance to chemical corrosion, oxidation and electrical conductivity. The tweezers are scratch resistant and perfect for nickel grid handling in immuno-gold work and can withstand high temperature in autoclaving.
Typical applications of gold-plated tweezers include microelectronics, TEM staining, immuno-gold work, electrochemistry and nanotechnology work for the Life Science and Microscopy field.
